The Dentist

Gracelyn had her first trip to the dentist this week. I was nervous about how she would react, but she did AMAZING! We talked about it beforehand and practiced what it would be like, and she walked in there like a champ. She was so sweet and cooperative for the hygienist and the dentist while they took her x-rays and did her cleaning. I was so PROUD of her and I could tell by the look on her face that she was very proud of herself too! We decided to take her to a pediatric dentist, and I'm so glad we did. This was one of the cutest offices I have ever seem complete with an entire comic book theme all over the walls, arcade games to play while you wait and the nicest staff ever. You can tell that they really go out of their way to make all the kids feel comfortable. She even got to where these cool sunglasses during her exam to keep the light out of her eyes. So cute! All the ladies in the office went gaga over Gracelyn and she walked out there with a whole sack full of prizes and goodies. And the best news is, NO cavities and the dentist said her teeth look great! YAY!
So, what did she get for being such a brave girl and having no cavities.... a sugary strawberry frappachino, of course! :)
