Last, but certainly not least...the beach!

We also spent two very fun days at the beach in Carlsbad. The kids all loved playing together in the sand and the adults had a great time on the boogie boards. We got to ride in some pretty big waves! I was a little unsure of how Addison would do, since she was still not quite walking, but she did pretty well overall. She didn't love sitting in the sand but she would play in it if she got to sit on a mat, and she took a couple great naps in her stroller thanks to the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. Gracelyn on the other hand absolutely loved playing in the water and the sand!By late afternoon on our second beach day, both the babies needed a nap!And after a long day of boogie boarding, apparently the men did too! :)
