San Diego: The Beach

We spent a very fun-filled day at Carlsbad Beach. This trip to the beach was so different for Gracelyn. Last year, she wanted nothing to do with the dirty sand and the waves. This year, on the other hand, she LOVED running in the waves, playing in the sand with her cousins, and getting all wet and dirty. She kept begging for Josh to take her out into the BIG waves and to go on the boogie boards like mommy and daddy (however we decided it might be a few more years before she is ready for the boogie board :) Addie spent most of her day napping in the shade, however she did get out into the sun for a few minutes for some pictures and a dip in the ocean (well, just her toes!) Favorite Part of the Day: Catching this moment on my camera. Naked on the beach with a Diet Dr. Pepper...Life doesn't get much better than that! (Don't worry, this little nude, soda drinking episode only lasted a few minutes!)
