Gracelyn got to celebrate her 6th Birthday while we were in Phoenix for spring break. So we took the opportunity to invite all her friends to the park for cupcakes! She was beyond thrilled to see all her Phoenix friends, all of whom she has been missing so much! After the park, Gracelyn chose Famous Daves for her birthday dinner....once again! This time however, to our utmost dismay, we discovered that they no longer bring you a sparkler in your birthday dessert! Despite her major disappointment, Gracelyn handled the situation so well and decided that ice cream with hot fudge would be just as delicious without the sparkler. Just proof that our baby girl is growing up into a mature little lady. I was so proud of her.
Here are some things to know about this Six Year Old
- She started ballet this year and simply LOVES it. I love watching her focus and determination during class. She will be in her first recital this summer!
- She is a wonderful big sister and a huge helper to her mommy.
- She loves riding horses with Papa and is very much looking forward to riding lessons and participating in horse shows next year!
- She is a natural people person and is known for walking right up and starting a conversation with just about anyone. She makes friends with people everywhere she goes!
- She lost 2 more teeth on bottom, for a total of 4 teeth lost. She looks adorable when she smiles with her missing bottom teeth!
- When she grows up, she wants to be a dancer, teacher, artist, photographer, chef, mommy, and horse trainer. Knowing her personality, I would be willing to bet that she just might accomplish ALL those things!
