Addie at 18 months

This picture is a perfect description of Addison Joy at 18 months: busy, sweet, sassy, adorable as can be, and always trying to keep up with her big sister! She has a mind of her own and gives mommy a lesson in patience each and every day. I am still amazed at the way she can push me to my limits one second, then turn and say something so sweet and just melt my heart seconds later! There is definitely not a dull moment with her. She has developed a recent love for owls...don't ask me how or why this happened. There is one in her animal book, and ever since she learned what the owl says, she's been hooked. She gets so excited every time she sees something with an owl on it. She also loves to play pretend with Gracelyn. They are beginning to play so well together, and Gracelyn can usually keep her entertained for at least 30 minutes. She continues to talk up a storm and is now frequently putting 2 and 3 words together, to tell us exactly what is on her mind. Here are some of the things she says on a daily basis, that I never want to forget:

• "Tank You Mama...Welcome" (yes, she adds the "welcome" in for me, if I don't say it quick enough)
• "Nigh Night...Wuve You"
  
• Every time we drop Gracelyn off at preschool, as we are pulling away in the car, she waves out the window and says..."Bye Sissy, Have Fun!"
• "Where's Addie" (this continues to be her favorite game)
• "Hap Birt day to you" (anytime she sees a candle or fire)
  
• "Itsy Pider" (her new favorite song...she asks (demands) that I sing it at least twice a day)
• "Where are you Moon?" (she still can't figure out why she can't see the moon in the middle of the day)
• "Sorry Sissy" (which she is usually told to say several times a day, after doing something to pick on her big sister)

I just could not love this little girl any more! She has made me a better mommy and I am so thankful for her exhuberant personality!
