Holiday Wrap Up

Well, it seems as though this December was even busier than most, leaving me little time to blog about all the fun holiday activities we got to do before heading off to Utah for Christmas. So, here is a quick wrap up of our December activities:

We went to visit Santa at the mall. Both girls were willing to sit on his lap this year. Gracelyn excitedly told him that she really wanted some new Barbies for Christmas, while Addie just stared blankly at him, trying to figure out why she was sitting with this stranger. This was the first year that mommy was not allowed to take her own picture, so we opted for some pictures by Santa's Christmas tree instead :)Gracelyn got to go ice skating for the first time at cousin Brooke's birthday party. She absolutely LOVED it and was skating all on her own after just a few times around with Daddy. We literally could not get her off the ice the entire time. We are definitely looking forward to taking her back for more skating in the future.After Brooke's party, we always go to see the Christmas house. We were thankful to find out that he decided to do up his entire house one more year! The girls loved walking through it as always. and the good news is that he will continue to decorate the outside of his house next year too, so we are looking forward to another year of this fun tradition!It was a fun BUSY December for us, with lots of exciting changes....but more on that later! :)
